Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Kristen Neilsen of the Austin Packers volleyball team!

Neilsen, a senior libero for the Packers amassed 41 digs in a Tuesday evening match versus the Winona Winhawks to surpass 1,000 for her career, plus her five ace serves, two set assists and one kill helped the Packers rally back from an 0-2 deficit to win in five sets 19-25, 12-25, 25-18, 25-23 and 15-12.  Neilsen also tallied 11 digs in a recent match versus Northfield, the No. 3 team in the state in Class AAA, and she led the Packers in digs with 18 in a Thursday night matchup with Mankato East.
