Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Riley Jax of the Southland Rebels baseball team!

Jax, a senior pitcher for the Rebels who was a first-team All-Southeast Conference selection as a junior with an 8-1 record and an ERA near 1.00 last season is off to a torrid start this season, as he opened the 2024 campaign by striking out 15, allowing no hits and only two walks in a 4-0 victory over Spring Grove, and earlier this week against Wabasha-Kellogg, Jax went the distance and struck out 10, giving up no runs and only two hits in another 4-0 Rebels victory.
