Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team downs Glenville-Emmons 67-60 Tuesday evening

The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team was looking for win number three in a row at All Saints Arena Tuesday evening as they played host to the Wolverines of Glenville-Emmons in a Southeast Conference matchup, and it was Chase Bauer resgistering a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds to help lead the Athletics to a 67-60 win.

Landon Meyer was also in double figures in scoring Tuesday evening with 14 points, plus he added five rebounds, a team-high five assists and two steals, Dylan Christianson tallied 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals, Marshall Burma and Isaac Nelsen each scored eight points apiece, Leland Hicks totaled five points, and Andrew Fredrick chipped in two points in the win.

The Athletics are now 11-12 overall on the season with the win, and 8-9 in the Southeast Conference, and in a schedule quirk, LP and Glenville-Emmons will meet again Thursday night, this time in Glenville, with the varsity tip-off at 7:15 p.m. that evening
