Blooming Prairie cross-country teams compete in Hayfield triangular

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys and girls cross-country teams took part in a triangular hosted by Hayfield Thursday, and in the boys’ competition, the Blossoms finished with 55 points, the host Vikings were second with 37 points and Maple River was first with 31.
Hosea Baker ran the best time for Blooming Prairie with a final time of 20:02, Alex Miller was second best for the Blossoms with a final time of 20:32, followed by Jesse Cardenas at 21:02, Tyler Forystek at 21:06 and Dylan Johnson at 21:30.
In the girls’ competition, Blooming Prairie was second to Maple River 42-16, while the host Vikings were incomplete.
Bobbie Bruns ran the best time for the Blossoms on Thursday at 24:40, followedby Emily Miller at 26:01, Chloe McCarthy at 26:24, Abby Smith at 26:45 and Haven Carlson at 27:17.
