Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys basketball team routs FBA 84-37 Friday evening

Gabe Hein led four Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms in double figures in scoring with 22 points, including two 3-pointers Friday night as the Blossoms routed the Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinals 84-37 in Gopher Conference boys basketball action in Faribault.

Brady Kittleson poured in 20 points for the Blossoms Friday evening, Zack Hein drilled a pair of 3’s in scoring 14 points, Gabe Staloch was also in double figures with 13 points, Kolby Vigeland tallied nine points, Eric Garcia-Ramirez swished a 3-pointer for three points, Cooper Cooke totaled two points, and Jacob Pauly scored one point in the win that saw the Blossoms score 80 or more points for the second game in a row, and for the ninth time overall this season.

With the victory, Blooming Prairie is now 20-2 overall on the season and 12-1 in the Gopher Conference, and the Blossoms, the No. 9 team in the state in the latest Class A poll will travel to Adams Monday evening to take on Southland Rebels, the No. 13 team in the state in Class A in the same poll, with varsity tip-off at 7:15 p.m.
