It was a great day Saturday for the Austin Packers boys’ swimming and diving team at the Minnesota Class A State Swimming and Diving Meet at Jean K Freeman Pool as the squad racked up three top-three finishes, earned four other finishes in the top 10 and also broke a school record for good measure.  

Austin’s 200 medley relay team of Rafe Dolan Peterson, Logan Kelly, Trey Myers and Aaron Knoll took second place with an All-American consideration time of 1:32.12, and the same team was 3rd in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3.11.76.

Logan Kelly took third in the 100 breaststroke, where he swam a new AHS record time of 55.19 seconds and he also took fourth in the 200 individual medley with a time of 1:54.57.  

Rafe Dolan Peterson took fifth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 51.55 and teammate Trey Meyers was seventh with a time of 52.98.  Dolan Peterson was also fifth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.67. Riley Norton took sixth place in diving with a score of 339.89.  

Austin finished in sixth place in the team standings with a score of 157.  Breck-Blake won the Class A team meet with a fial score of 342.
