The Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce that second-year Bruin Ben Almquist has been named the NAHL Bauer Forward of the Month for November.

Almquist, 20, racked up 12 points in nine games for the Bruins last month, including nine goals, four multi-point games, and two game winners. The Victoria, MN, native has been solid all season for the black-and-gold, having registered 23 points in 24 games played.

This is Almquist’s second award during the month of November, following his NAHL Bauer Central Division First Star of the Week selection back on November 25. He’s the first Bruin to earn Player of the Month Honors for the Bruins this season.

Almquist and the rest of his Bruins teammates will hit the ice this Friday at Riverside Arena taking on the St. Cloud Blizzard for the first time this season.
