Rochester man sentenced to jail time, supervised probation on felony drug possession charge in Mower County District Court
A Rochester man who pleaded guilty to a felony drug possession charge in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that occurred on November 30th, 2021 has been sentenced to jail time, supervised probation, fines and fees, plus time in the sentence to service program.
46-year old Ryan Scott Holmseth was sentenced Wednesday to 94 days in jail, five years of supervised probation, $2,160 in fines and fees, plus 80 hours in the sentence to service program for a felony charge of 1st degree drugs, possession of 50 or more grams of cocaine or methamphetamine. A prison term of 115 months, or nine years and five months in prison was stayed for five years if Holmseth complies with the 15 different conditions of his probation, and he was given credit for 94 days already served.
Holmseth was convicted on the charge on February 6th, 2024 after pleading guilty the same day.
