A Rochester man under investigation for drug trafficking who was allegedly found with 42 vacuum sealed bags of marijuana totaling 42 pounds, 1.15 grams of cocaine and $2,296 cash after a traffic stop in Dexter on October 9th has been charged with three felonies in Mower County District Court.

46-year old Jeffrey James Lawstuen was charged Monday with felonies for 2nd degree drugs, sale of 10 kilos or more of marijuana or tetrahydrocannabinols, 3rd degree drugs, possession of 10 kilos or more of marijuana, and for 5th degree drug possession.  Lawstuen pleaded not guilty to all charges, and his next appearance in Mower County District Court will be a pre-trial hearing on April 9th, 2021.
