A Kansas man was injured in a one-vehicle, rollover-type accident on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County Wednesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup being driven by 63-year old Robert Michael Hesser of Lansing, Kansas was southbound on Interstate 35 at approximately 7:07 a.m. Wednesday morning when his vehicle left the road, entered the median and rolled at milepost 19 in Bath Township.

Hesser sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea for treatment.  The State Patrol indicated that Hesser was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, and the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, plus the Clarks Grove Fire Department both assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Wednesday morning.
