Jerome Cunningham scored 28 points to lead three RCTC Yellowjackets in double figures in a 77-75, come-from-behind win over the Riverland College Blue Devils in Rochester Wednesday night.

Riverland, who is currently ranked No. 7 in the latest NJCAA poll led 46-38 at the half, but the Yellowjackets clamped down defensivley in the second half and outscored the Blue Devils 39-29 on their way to the win.  Terrell Smith led Riverland with 16 points, while Deandre Anderson swished three of the Blue Devils’ 10 3-pointers in the game on his way to 15 points off the bench.  Kenan Butler added 10 points and Montrell Jacobs drilled three 3-pointers for nine points.  Besides Cunningham’s 28 points, Kong Kong poured in 19 points for the Yellowjackets and Devin Melzer added 18 points in the winning effort as the two teams split their season series.

The Blue Devils are now 20-4 overall on the season, and they will be back in action at home Saturday afternoon versus Ridgewater College from Willmar.  Tip-off will be at 3:00 p.m.
