Dover semi driver injured in one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 63 near LeRoy Wednesday afternoon

A Dover man was injured in a one-vehicle accident involving a semi on U.S. Highway 63 near LeRoy Wednesday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2012 Peterbuilt 384 semi being driven by 64-year old Brian John Justin of Dover was southbound on Highway 63 at approximately 1:43 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.  When Justin’s semi turned left to go eastbound on 120th Street in Fillmore County, the State Patrol indicated that the vehicle overturned into the south ditch.

Justin sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment.  The State Patrol reported that Justin was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, and LeRoy Fire and Ambulance, plus the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Wednesday afternoon.
