Austin Packers wrestling team picks up first dual meet win of the season over Rochester Century 36-21

The Austin Packers wrestling team was on the road Thursday evening for a Big 9 Conference dual meet with Rochester Century, and the Packers utilized pins from Thomas Fritz at 145 pounds and Angel Aguilera Lemus at 195 pounds, plus four forfeits to down the Panthers 36-21.

Rochester Century forfeited to Sean Donovan at 126, Lathan Wilson at 132, Sam Oelfke at 138 and Mason Callahan at 170.  There were double forfeits at 106, 113, 182 and 220.  With the win, Austin moves to 1-7 overall in dual meets and 1-5 in the Big 9 Conference.  The Packers return to action on Friday, January 24th in a Big 9 triangular with Mankato East and Owatonna in Mankato, with the action set to start at 5:30 p.m.
