Austin man sentenced to up to 10 years of supervised probation on two felony criminal sexual conduct charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who sexually assaulted a juvenile female under 10 years of age at the time and her older sister on several occasions at a residence in Austin, the last being in May of 2020 has been sentenced to up to 10 years of supervised probation in Mower County District Court.

39-year old Rene Alfredo Vincente-Morales was sentenced Friday to five years of supervised probation on a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim 13-15 years of age, position of authority.  A 36-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Vincente-Morales complies with the 20 different conditions of his probation.  That judgment was rendered Friday in addition to Vincente-Morales being convicted and sentenced to five years of supervised probation on November 18th, 2022 for a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 13 years of age, actor more than 36 months older.  A 36-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Vincente-Morales complies with the terms of his probation, and Judge Jeffrey Kritzer determined Friday that Vincente-Morales must serve the two sentences consecutively.

Vincente-Morales pleaded guilty to both charges on August 5th, 2022, and he was convicted on the first felony criminal sexual conduct charge on November 18th, 2022.
