Austin man sentenced to supervised probation on felony criminal sexual conduct charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who raped a woman in a wooded area of Austin on June 15th, 2021 has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court. 

21-year old Kevin Alexander Morgan-Price was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 10 years of supervised probation for a felony charge of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 16 years of age, actor more than 24 months older.  A 36-month prison sentence was stayed for 10 years if Morgan-Price complies with the 25 different conditions of his probation, and he was given credit for 724 days already served.  Judge Jeffery Kritzer also determined that Morgan-Price will be subject to 10 years of conditional release after confinement.  

Morgan-Price pleaded guilty to the charge on June 22nd of this year, and additional felony charges of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct, personal injury, force or coercion, 1st degree criminal sexual conduct, personal injury, physically helpless, 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, personal injury, force or coercion, 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, personal injury, physically helpless, 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct, force or coercion, 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct, physically helpless, and 4th degree criminal sexual conduct, victim 13-15 years of age, actor more than 48 months older against Morgan-Price in the case were all dismissed with his guilty plea.
