Austin man sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court on felony domestic assault charge

An Austin man who pleaded guilty to felony domestic assault charge in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that took place in Austin on July 31st of 2022 has been sentenced to prison time.
47-year old March Richard Rabideau was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 21 months in prison for a felony charge of domestic assault. Rabideau first pleaded guilty to the charge on June 12th of this year, and a felony charge for domestic assault by strangulation in the case against Rabideau was dismissed with his guilty plea.
