Wisconsin man sentenced to jail time, supervised probation on felony violate an order for protection charge in Mower County District Court

A Wisconsin man who pleaded guilty to a felony violate an order for protection charge in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that occurred in Mower County on February 27th of this year has been sentenced to jail time, supervised probation and time in the sentence to service program.

52-year old James Eugene Vagt of New Richmond, Wisconsin was sentenced Monday to 45 days in jail, three years of supervised probation and 40 hours in the sentence to service program for a felony charge of violate an order for protection. Vagt was given credit for 14 days already served, and a 15-month prison sentence was stayed for three years if Vagt complies with the 21 different conditions of his probation.  

Vagt was convicted on the charge on June 22nd after pleading guilty the same day, and three additional felony charges for violate an order for protection in the case against Vagt were dismissed with his guilty plea.
