Winona man suffers serious injuries in two-vehicle accident in northern Mower County Friday afternoon

A Winona man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident in northern Mower County Friday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that both 37-year old Dustin Daniel Holicky of Winona, and 28-year old Thomas Anthony Decker, of Blooming Prairie, were southbound on U.S. Highway 218 near 320th Street when they crashed just before 4:00 p.m. Friday.
Holicky suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin. Decker was uninjured. The State Patrol reported that Holicky was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident while Decker was.
The Steele County Sheriff’s Office and Blooming Prairie police, fire, and ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene.
