Rochester man sentenced to supervised probation on felony drug sale charge in Mower County District Court

A Rochester man facing four felony drug sale charges in Mower County District Court stemming from drug sales that occurred in Austin in July and December of 2022 has been sentenced to supervised probation and time in the sentence to service program.

26-year old Nathaniel Isaiah Rojas was convicted and sentenced Thursday to five years of supervised probation and 100 hours in the sentence to service program for a felony charge of 2nd degree drugs, sale of 10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin with a 90-day period.  A 117-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Rojas complies with the 17 different conditions of his probation, and he pleaded guilty to the charge on January 16th of this year.  

Additional felony charges for 1st degree drugs, sale of 17 grams or more of cocaine or methamphetamine within a 90-day period, plus an additional charge for 2nd degree drugs, sale of 10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin within a 90-day period stemming from the December 20th, 2022 incident, and an additional felony charge for 5th degree drug possession against Rojas stemming from an incident that took place in Austin on July 18th, 2022 were dismissed with his guilty plea.
