Price for a gallon of unleaded gas on the rise in Minnesota

The price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline has risen sharply as of late not only in southeastern Minnesota, but the rest of the state and the country as well.  KAUS News spoke with Patrick DeHaan, Senior Petroleum Analyst with the website gasbuddy.com who gave the reasons for the sharp uptick…

The current price for a gallon of unleaded gas in Mower County is $3.64.  The county with the highest average price for a gallon of unleaded is currently Faribault at $3.65, while the county with the lowest average price is Pope in west-central Minnesota at $3.28.  The statewide average price for a gallon of gas is currently $3.59, while the national average is at $3.65.
