Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Matthew Prior of the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms football team!

Prior, a senior halfback for the 12-0 Blossoms racked up a monster game in the State Class A semi-finals at US Bank Stadium last Saturday against Ada/Borup, as he carried the ball 18 times for 181 yards and three touchdowns to help lead the Blossoms to a 41-0 rout of the Cougars.  The win moves Blooming Prairie into the Prep Bowl for the first time in school history, and the Blossoms will tangle with another unbeaten team, the BOLD Warriors in the Class A championship game Friday, November 29th at 10:00 a.m.
