Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Casey Berg of the Austin Packers boys’ soccer team!

Berg, a senior goalkeeper and captain for the Packers capped off a stellar career Wednesday night in the Section 1A boys soccer final versus Dover-Eyota as he made two massive saves in a penalty kick shootout to help lift the Packers past the Eagles 2-1 for their fourth consecutive Section 1A boys soccer title.  For the season, Berg allowed only five goals in 47 shots for a goals against average of 0.45, and he was one of the biggest factors in helping Austin to a 13-0-1 record and a fourth straight Big 9 Conference title.
