Number of COVID-19 cases in Minnesota rises to 262; still six cases in Mower County

The Minnesota Department of Health reported Tuesday that the number of positive cases of COVID-19, or coronavirus in the state has risen to 262 after 235 cases were reported on Monday.

Health officials reported that there are currently 15 people hospitalized, and 88 patients who no longer need to be isolated. 

Mower County still has six cases of COVID-19, while Olmsted County has 18 cases, Dodge and Fillmore Counties each have three, five cases have been reported in Steele County,  while Waseca and Wabasha Counties each have one. Blue Earth County is currently reporting five cases of COVID-19.  

The number of completed tests submitted to the Minnesota Department of Health’s Public Health Lab stands at 5,812.
