LeRoy man injurd in two-vehicle accident in Olmsted County Wednesday

A LeRoy man was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Olmsted County late Wednesday afternoon.  

The accident occurred just after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and County Road 104. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that 20-year old Joshua Jacob Weiss of LeRoy, was southbound on County Road 104 and 22-year old Vanessa Isabel Navarro of Kasson, was westbound on Highway 14 when the two vehicles collided at the intersection of the two roads.  

Weiss suffered a non-life threatening injury and was taken to Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment. Navarro was uninjured.  

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene.
