How much would your stimulus check be? It will likely depend on your income…

The U.S. Senate agreed late last night on unprecedented direct stimulus payments from the government to ease preventative measures in place nationwide against Coronavirus (COVID-19), which have caused thousands to file for unemployment and have already slowed much of the economy.

Here’s the breakdown of the Senate version of the legislation:

2019 adjusted gross individual income of $75,000 or less

$1,200 rebate

2019 adjusted gross joint income under $150,000

$2,400 rebate

Those with children (single or couple) would get an additional $500 per child.

The Senate version of the stimulus was expected to pass the Senate on Wednesday afternoon, but would still need to be passed by the House in order to be signed into law by the President.
