The Grand Meadow Superlarks girls’ basketball team was in action Saturday morning the first game of the Kasson Showcase against the New Richland/Hartland/Ellendale/Geneva Panthers, and despite Riley Queensland pouring in 29 points, the Panthers had three players in double figures in a 61-52 win.

Besides Queensland’s 29 points, River Landers was also in double figures in scoring for the Larks with 10 points, while Rylee Groom added seven points and Madison Hindt five.  Erin Jacobsen led NRHEG in the winning effort with 18 points, while Sophie Stork added 16 points and Sidney Schultz added 13.

The Superlarks are now 6-6 overall on the season, and they return to action Tuesday night at home for a Southeast Conference matchup with Lyle/Pacelli.  Varsity tip-off will be at 7:15 p.m.
