Riley Queensland tallied 21 points and River Landers added nine points and eight rebounds as the Grand Meadow Superlarks held off the Lewiston/Altura Cardinals 47-43 in a non-conference game Monday night in Grand Meadow.

The Larks led by only one at the half 23-22 as the Cardinals, winners of only two of their last twelve had upset on their minds and were led by star guard Myia Ruzek’s 11 points.  Grand Meadow was able to hang on and besides Queensland and Landers, Madison Hindt added seven points, Rylee Groom tallied five points, Isabelle Olson added three points  and Gina Stier two for the Superlarks, who raised their record to 9-6 overall on the season.  With the loss, Lewiston/Altura dips to 5-11.

Grand Meadow is back in action tonight in Randolph against the Rockets, who are the closest pursuer to the Larks in the West Division of the Southeast Conference.  Varsity tip-off is slated for 7:15 p.m.
