The average price for a gallon of gas in Mower County has dropped to $1.70. The counties with the highest average price for a gallon of gas are Carver and Ramsey in the Twin Cities Metro Area at $1.94, while the county with the lowest average price is Goodhue at $1.35. Today’s national gas price average is $1.94. Here in Minnesota, the average is $1.81 with motorists able to find gas for less than $2 a gallon at 98 percent of gas stations.
