Faribault man sentenced to prison time for felony terroristic threats charge in Mower County District Court

A Faribault man who swung a knife at another man at an apartment in the 200 block of 1st Street SE in Austin on February 4th, 2020 has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.

48-year old Kristin Manuel Arredondo was sentenced Thursday to 23 months in prison for a felony charge of terroristic threats.  Arredondo first pleaded guilty to the charge in August of 2020, and he was convicted in October of the same year.  A felony charge of 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, plus two petty misdemeanor charges for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the case were dismissed with Arredondo’s guilty plea.
