Clarks Grove man injured in one-vehicle accident in Goodhue County Thursday morning

A Clarks Grove man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 58 in Goodhue County Thursday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria being driven by 27-year old Cody Allen Williamson of Clarks Grove was southbound on Highway 58 at approximately 6:38 a.m. Thursday morning when his vehicle collided with the embankment on the east side ditch at Old Church Road in Hay Creek Township.

Williamson, who the State Patrol indicated was unbelted at the time of the accident sustained non-life threatening injuries, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Red Wing for treatment.  The Goodhue Fire Department and First Responders, the Red Wing Fire Department and the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office all assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Thursday morning.
