Austin woman facing felony theft charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin woman who allegedly stole $1,200 in cash on October 11th from a male victim from a residence in the 900 block of 2nd Avenue Northeast has been charged in Mower County District Court.

52-year old Joleen Carol Muhlbauer was charged Monday with a felony for theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent-and a petty misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia as a methamphetamine pipe was found in her purse during a search for the missing money.

Muhlbauer’s next appearance in Mower County District Court is scheduled for October 28th.
