Austin Police seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying those involved in late Saturday evening hit-and-run accident

The Austin Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying those involved in a hit-and-run accident in northeast Austin late Saturday evening.  

Chief of Police Dave McKichan stated in an incident report that officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 9th St. and 3rd Avenue NE at 11:42 p.m. Saturday evening.  Two occupants were in a Nissan Infiniti when a Kia Spectra collided with it at the intersection of the two roads, causing the Infiniti to roll.  Chief McKichan stated that the occupants of the Kia were not at the scene upon officer arrival, and he added  that they have not been located or identified at last word.  McKichan went on to state that no injuries were sustained by the occupants of the Infiniti, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
