The Austin Packers volleyball team was looking to get on the winning track Tuesday night as they played host to Owatonna in a Big 9 Conference matchup at Packer Gym, but it was the Huskies rallying from a 19-16 defict in the first set by scoring 9 of the last 11 points to win 25-21, and they went on to win the next two sets 25-12 and 25-20 to complete the sweep.

Kennedy Bell and Ava Broverhuis each tallied five kills to lead Austin in hitting, while Lexi Stich added three kills and two ace serves.  Isabel Stark added two kills and two ace blocks for the Packers to lead the squad in that statistic, Briella Wempner led Austin in set assists with eight, Chloe Jenkins added six set assists and one ace serve while Madisyn Retterath led the Packers in digs with 13, plus she chipped in an ace serve.

With the loss, Austin falls to 0-3 on the season, and they are now off for a week until a trip to Rochester to take on the Century Panthers on Tuesday, October 20th.  The varsity start time for that match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
