The Austin Packers girls’ basketball team was on the road in Northfield Thursday evening for a Big 9 Conference tilt against the Raiders, and Hope Dudycha led three players in double figures with 32 points as the Packers outdistanced Northfield for the win, 81-76.

Besides Dudycha’s 32 points, Reana Schmitt scored 20 points and Emma Dudycha chipped in 12 points in the winning effort for Austin.  Olivia Walsh tallied eight points, Elyse Hebrink added five points and Cassidy Shute chipped in four points for the Packers, who trailed Northfield 41-40 at the half.  Annika Richardson led four Raiders in double figures with 20 points in the loss.

Austin moves to 2-1 on the season, and the Packers return to action tonight at Ove Berven Gym versus Winona, with the B-Squad game tipping off at 6:00 p.m., and the varsity to follow at 7:30 p.m.
