Austin man injured in one-vehicle rollover-type accident early Sunday morning

An Austin man was injured in a one-vehicle, rollover-type accident early Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 218 just south of Austin.  

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2008 Ford Fusion being driven by 22-year old Isaac Coe of Austin was southbound on Highway 218 just before 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning when he went off the road near the intersection with 29th Avenue, struck a culvert, and rolled.

The State Patrol reported that Coe suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin for treatment. An infant passenger in his vehicle, Azalea Melody Coe of Austin was uninjured.

The State Patrol reported that both parties involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts, and the Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene.
