Austin man facing burglary, assault and criminal damage to property charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who allegedly entered a residence in Lansing early Wednesday morning and assaulted a woman in the residence, and who also allegedly damaged her vehicle has been charged in Mower County District Court.

20-year old Dustin Lawrence Lerum was charged Thursday with a felony for first-degree burglary, assaulting a person in a building or on property, a felony for first-degree burglary of an occupied dwelling and misdemeanors for domestic assault, fifth-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal damage to property.  

Lerum’s next appearance in Mower County District Court is scheduled for January 2nd, 2020.
