Albert Lea man sentenced to jail time, supervised probation on felony violating a restraining order charge in Mower County District Court

An Albert Lea man facing a pair of felony violating a restraining order charges in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that took place in Austin on September 20th, 2023 has been sentenced to jail time and supervised probation.

22-year-old Cody Orivn Rowe was sentenced Thursday to 19 days in jail and three years of supervised probation for a felony charge of harassment, restraining order, violate within 10 years of the first of two previous domestic violence convictions.  Rowe was given credit for 19 days already served, and a 15-month prison sentence was stayed for three years if Rowe complies with the 18 different conditions of his probation.  

Rowe was convicted on the charge on January 16th after pleading guilty the same day, and an identical felony charge for harassment, restraining order, violate within 10 years of the first of two previous domestic violence convictions against Rowe in the case was dismissed with his guilty plea.
