A Waltham man suffered non-life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in the city of Montrose in Wright County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2004 Kia Sedona being driven by 35-year old Chelsea Alexandra Soland of Montrose was stopped at a stop sign at approximately 5:41 a.m. Wednesday morning at 2378 U.S. Highway 12 in Montrose. At the same time, a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by 29-year old Jeremy William Rohl of Waltham was westbound on U.S. Highway 12 when Soland’s vehicle failed to yield and proceeded through the intersection, causing the two vehicles to collide.

Rohl sustained non-life threatening injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.  Soland was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  The State Patrol’s report indicated that Soland may have been under the influence of alcohol when the accident occurred.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Montrose Fire Department and Ridgeview Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
