Two males are dead and two other victims were seriously injured after a one-vehicle accident early Thursday morning on Interstate 90 in eastern Mower County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a Dodge Ram pickup was traveling westbound on I-90 approximately two miles west of Stewartville at 7:06 a.m. Thursday morning when it went out of control, rolled through the center median and ended up in the eastbound lane.

The State Patrol reported that the driver and a backseat passenger were ejected from the vehicle and were killed. Neither person was wearing a seatbelt.  Two other passengers in the vehicle were hospitalized with serious injuries. The eastbound lanes of I-90 were closed for several hours Thursday morning from Dexter to Rochester because of the accident.  The victims’ names have not yet been released.
