Two Alden residents injured in two-vehicle accident in Olmsted County Wednesday afternoon
Two residents of Alden were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Olmsted County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that 71-year old Lawrence Edward Keller of Elgin, was driving east on Highway 247 just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon while 59-year old Curtis Leonard Guenther of Alden, was westbound on the same road. The two vehicles collided near mile marker 4 in Farmington Township.
Guenther and a passenger in his vehicle, 60-year old Lorelei Jean Guenther of Alden, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment. Keller was uninjured.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Elgin Fire and Ambulance, Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, and Mayo Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene.
