St. Paul woman sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court on felony issuing dishonored checks charge

A St. Paul woman charged with a felony for issuing dishonored checks totaling over $500 in Austin on March 9th, 2022 has been sentenced to prison time and restitution in Mower County District Court.

48-year old Victoria Ann Robinson, who is currently incarcerated at the Minnesota Women’s Correctional Facility in Shakopee was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 21 months in prison, and $1,472 in restitution for a felony charge of issuing dishonored checks, valued more than $500.   Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge on November 17th, 2022, and a felony charge for possession of a stolen or counterfeit check for more than $500, but less than $2,500 in the case against Robinson was dismissed with her guilty plea.
