Some 1 million people across Minnesota are expected to cast their vote in person today in a general election predicted to break turnout records.
Minnesota’s Attorney General tweeted an update late this morning:
More reports from the field: Lines at 575 precincts across Minnesota; no lines over 1 hour. No problems at any locations.

About 100 million voters nationwide had already voted by mail or through early voting prior to Tuesday’s vote.
At Austin’s only polling location for this election, the Holiday Inn Conference Center, reports early in the day were of relatively short lines and an organized process.
