Kasson man sentenced to prison time on felony DWI charge in Mower County District Court

A Kasson man who pleaded guilty to a felony DWI charge after a traffic stop in Austin on December 20th, 2021 has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.
63-year old David Farroll King was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 42 months, or three years and six months in prison for a felony charge of 1st Degree DWI, refuse to submit to a breath test. King first pleaded guilty to the charge on March 4th, 2022, and a felony charge for 1st Degree DWI, under the influence of alcohol, a gross misdemeanor charge for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety, and a misdemeanor charge for open bottle in the case against King were dismissed with his guilty plea.
