Funeral announcements for 8/6/21

A Funeral Mass will be held for Margaret M. “Margy” Voss, age 67 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin.  Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  The family requests that masks be worn at the visitation and the funeral.

 

A memorial service will be held for Russell Elsworth Vaale, age 95 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

 

A memorial service will be held for Rachele “Shelly” Faye Nelson, age 57 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday afternoon.  

 

A funeral service will be held for Rose Marie Groh, age 83 of Austin at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 8th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  

 

Funeral services for Sherbun Lee Roberts, age 86 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 9th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday morning, with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

 

A visitation will be held for Steven A. Carlson, age 69 of Austin will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 9th and on Tuesday, August 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin.  A prayer service will be held for Steve at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

 

A memorial gathering will be held for Michael “Mike” William Bell, age 77 of Austin from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Military honors will be provided by Austin American Legion Post #91 and VFW Post 1216.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.
