Funeral announcements for 8/23/23

A funeral service for Joyce Fern (Montgomery) Bates, age 95 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A graveside service will be held for Ione Naatz (Heikes) McAnally at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25th at Grandview Cemetery south of Austin on U.S.Highway 218.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Bernadine “Bernie” Theresa Schmidt, age 89 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service Saturday morning.  Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

A Memorial Service will be held for Judy Kay Schaefer, age 62 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26th at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Brownsdale.  

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Ryan K. Pickar, age 43 of Austin at 11;00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4th at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the mass at the church.  Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Elma, Iowa.
