Funeral announcements for 5/16/24

A memorial service will be held for Ann Dixon, age 98 of Austin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17th at the Mayer-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service, with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

A memorial service will be held for JoAnn Tufte, age 90 of Greely, Colorado and formerly of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18th at the Mayer-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service Saturday morning, with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Dorothy “Dots” Mae Walter, age 83 of Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, with a rosary service beginning at 4:30 p.m.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Herbert “PeeWee” Landherr, age 94 of Adams at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20th at the Adams Funeral Home, and also for one hour before the mass at the church on Tuesday morning.  Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Johnsburg.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Joseph D. “Joe” Fuhrman, age 70 of Austin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22nd at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23rd at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin, and also for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin at a later date.

A private family funeral service will be held for Jon L. Canterbury, age 74, who passed away on Monday, May 6th at Cedar Court Assisted Living in Adams.  Interment will take place at Little Cedar Lutheran Church Cemetery in Adams.  

A private family graveside service will be held for Vernon Arthur Schneider, age 88 of Austin at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Waltham.
