Funeral announcements for 8/21/20

A graveside service for Della D. Gilbertson, age 72 of Austin will be held on Friday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Moscow Lutheran Church Cemetery in Freeborn County.

A memorial service for Dale Fredrick Nelson “Nels” will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 12:30-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Due to the current health concerns and restrictions, the limited capacity for the funeral home is 57 people.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  Military honors will be provided by Austin American Legion Post #91 and Austin VFW Post #1216.

A Funeral Service for Carol Green, age 82 of Austin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna.  Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin and also one hour before the service at the church on Monday morning.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A memorial service for Margaret Ruth Blue, age 86 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26th at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.

A private family graveside service for Harlan Stanley Thompson, age 88 of Austin will be held at a later date in Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery of rural Austin.  

The family of Martin “Marty” Allen, age 68 of Brownsdale will be hosting a gathering for friends and relatives at a later date.  Marty passed away on Sunday, August 16th in Austin.
