Funeral announcements for 8/18/20

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. Higgins, age 73 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin, and will continue Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the mass at the church.  

Visitation for Katherine M. Seiver, age 103 of Austin will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, with a graveside service to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  An Order of Eastern Star Service will follow the visitation prior to the graveside service.

A graveside service for David F. Reding, age 62 of Austin will be  held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20th at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Rose Creek.

A graveside service for Della D. Gilbertson, age 72 of Austin will be held on Friday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Moscow Lutheran Church Cemetery in Freeborn County.

A memorial service for Dale Fredrick Nelson “Nels” will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 12:30-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Due to the current health concerns and restrictions, the limited capacity for the funeral home is 57 people.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  Military honors will be provided by Austin American Legion Post #91 and Austin VFW Post #1216.

A private family graveside service for Harlan Stanley Thompson, age 88 of Austin will be held at a later date in Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery of rural Austin.
