Funeral announcements for 4/18/24

A funeral service for Donald Roger Chapek, age 88 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19th at Trondhjem Lutheran Church of rural Austin.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Interment will take place at Bohemian National Cemetery in Myrtle, Minnesota.

A funeral service will be held for Phyllis Lastine, age 90 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20th at Grace Baptist Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.  Interment will be at Six Mile Grove Cemetery in rural Lyle.

A memorial service will be held for Clifford “Zip” Matthew Blaser, age 93 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20th at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  

A funeral service will be held for Gary Boettcher, age 82, formerly of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23rd at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday morning.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Gerald “Jerry” Kramer, age 89 of Adams at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg.  There will be a 4:30 p.m. rosary service on Tuesday, April 23rd at the Adams Funeral Home, followed by visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.  Interment will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church cemetery.  

Edward Neil Wollschlager, age 80 of St. Charles and formerly of Austin passed away on Thursday, April 11th at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles.  In honoring Edward’s wishes, no services will be held.
