Funeral announcements for 3/14/23

A funeral service will be held for Evelyn Marcella Culbert, age 96 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15th at Crane Community Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday morning.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A funeral service will be held for Sadie Eileen Pratt, age 22 of Dexter on Thursday, March 16th at St. John’s Lutheran church in Elkton.  There will be visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, and the service will then follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will take place following the service at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A memorial mass will be held for Donna Marie (Schocker) Kolbe, age 89 of Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin on Thursday, March 16th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and visitation will continue from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service Friday morning.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

Funeral services for Avalon E. “Lonnie” Murphy, age 100 of rural Austin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, and visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday, March 18th.  

A funeral service will be held for Arvilla Evelybn Lovlein, age 102 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service, with interment at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A private graveside service will be held for John Harlow Whiting, age 94 of Blooming Prairie in April of 2023, at First Lutheran Cemetery in rural Blooming Prairie.  Military honors will follow the service at the Servicemen’s Club in Blooming Prairie.
